That Challenger is HOT! It's the first new vehicle in a very long time I would consider buying new. I was fortunate enough to have owned one when you could afford to buy a nice one without taking a second mortgage. An all original red on black 440 6 pack auto with Dana 60 super trac pac option that I bought for 3800.00 in 1985! Sold it for 5 grand a few years later when I got married and thought I did great, now it's probably worth 100K. It sure was fun to see the five liter Mustang guys look at hood and reconsider. As far as the new one it will surely have the Hemi option and likely the 425 horse version as well. It's on the same platform as the Charger and 300C so it's a no brainer. A little disappointed in the dash, it should have the full rallye cluster look with 4 large guages not the more basic dash with one large and three small. I was very disappointed in the Charger and was more than a little dismayed when I heard about a Challenger in the works, but they nailed it. Way to go Diamler- Chrysler! Ouch, that just doesn't sound right, oh well just build it and don't change a thing. I'm a big fan of the 701/2 to 73 Camaros as well but the Challenger was my ultimate musclecar.
