Has anyone used one of these Flitz buff balls to polish anything?I was thinking of buying one to polish some of the hard to do things on the engine like the water rail on my SRX,tried to use NeverDull on it a little earlier but it just didn't give me the results I was looking for.

Even with the flitz ball, I don't think you will find the results you are looking for. There is not enough friction and it won't go to a mirror finish. Here is pic of mine but I did it on a buffing wheel with a little bit of time into. It came out very nice and mirror like finish. If you can, go the route of the buffing wheel, best results guaranteed.

And this last one, I added the touch of painting the "Yamaha" transparent Blue.

VERY nice!!!What did you use for polishing compound, jewelers rouge? What kind of wheel can get into the corners and crevises like that? The only ones I've seen are the type that go on a bench grinder.

I used a rouge that we have found to work extremely well on our aluminum products. We have several different size wheels that go on several different speed bench grinders and they have basically made my sled what it is today. All you need is time and it will look like mine.

Call Jody at Reflections polishing Ypsilanti Michigan 734 547-2453. He will make it look like it is chrome

i have taken a bench polishing wheel and adapted it with a bolt, 2 flat washers and a nut. and use it with a right angle die grinder. a little moe convenient than a bench polisher. ;)!
