I know up here Northern Ontario a lot of guys have lost there sleds while going into a restaurant for a bite to eat, they finish there meals go outside and there sleds are gone!!! When I go to a restaurant I carry ( I know start laughing ) a baby monitor.. I put the base inside my cowling ( if it's really cold out I wrap it inside a light cloth ) and I will carry the receiver in my jacket I can hear if anyone is within 15 feet of my sled..I do go threw a few batteries but at least I know my sled will be there...I have used it on a couple overnighters in motels just put the receiver on the night table...

Are sleds really that prone to theaft.
Are there any locks you can put on a sled like abike?
Geeze I just got mine and Now I am worried about this.
What should I do?
I think my dogs will be sleeping next to the sled tonight, and I'll figure a way to put the sled in the house some hoh.

yes they do make locks for hitches and i believe something like a club for your sled it goes in the track, but it wont prevent it being stolen justa little trickier, if someone wants it bad enough, sorry to hear about the stolen sleds

locking the lever down on your coupler dont do crap!!!
they can just use a smaller ball or a ground down ball and fit it in and
trailer GONE!
if the trailer is unhooked the best locks also cover the ball hole so nothing get be put in. Fulton Gorilla Guard is a good one in my opinion,

has for the trucks if all else fails find out where the fuel pump fuse or relay is and PULL it OUT when parked! if you want to know where yours is at pm me yr. make model & engine size and I should be able to find it on my computer
