I'M NEW AT THIS SO FORGIVE ME. I don't fly in the trails. I go about 40-60 that is why I bought a SRX 600 and not a 700. I do pin it every once in awile in wide open spaces. I would just like to beat my buddies off the line and up to 60mph if it is possible. They have a Mach Z 800 and ZR 900. They can do their 100 + mph. I won't do it and they know it. I like life and I don't want to hurt anyone else. :rocks: :yam:

THE QUESTION IS:

I would just like to beat my buddies off the line and up to 60mph if it is possible? WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO MY SLED?

dude,,,,I $hit you not on this one....I had a 86 phazer that was stock except for the monster track that would beat my friends 98 xcr 700 (triple 7 with triple pipes) to 70 every time....of course at or near 70 it was like the I had tied the sled to a tree and the rope went tight and stopped the sled cause that 700 went buy like it was shot out of a cannon but either way I still had him...till 70 ok maybe 60...something like that....that was back in 1999...
 
ps...you sled will go 110 on the speedo and if your on a lake and have gone over the path you intend on flying on.....(just to make sure the ice/snow is clear) and the visibility is good then go ahead and push it...those 600's go really well... I had one! and they rock....
also I sure if you wanted, someone on hear can tell you how to gear it and clutch it to get to 75 in a hurry...actually I think if you were willing to accept 75 as a top speed you could gear and clutch to make the thing a rocket to 75....

Hes right, No BS

On my sled, I get to 77 mph faster than all my friends, and here is what they got

(96) studed 97 formula 583
polaris 92indy 500
polaris 91indy 500 classic
(96)studded 98 ZL500
Studded 02 pantera 600
48 studs(hahahahhahaaa) 97 SX700
(96)studded 98 SRX700

Theres alot more on the dead list too but im sparing them some embarasment as they never caught back up again.

Only one that ever catches up real fast is the SRX which passes me at 65 mph
 
if you arent concerned with top speed, gear it down and clutch it for a short run. would be fun on the trails as well. and no, I have no clutch setups for you lol! no idea man, but turk probably would :)
