hey i just bought a set of SLP triples for my sxr 700. it has the head gasket mod done already and i was wondering if this will create any problems? any info will be appreciated. thanks

yup i ran one for over 3,000 miles with cpr's and two layer head gasket. Always ran premium, no problems at all until the headgasket blew at the end of the season. Didn't peel the new one.

runs great! very dependable. it has 8000 miles on it now. slp recommends 147.5 mains. what do you recommend blue hammer?
thanks for all the replies guys.

What do you have for pilots and needles.
With Aaens and one layer peeled from gasket I am running 50 pilots and 147.5 mains. Which has been ok but the weather here has been miled

I am running 147.5's straight across, 45 pilots and the stock needle in the 3rd clip (no washers) with my 700 tripple with SLP quiets. I am running 22cc Peak Head and reed spacers and it is very safe (fat wash marks but no fouling) at 3500 ft. at 5 degrees. I may lean it up a little after another ride or two but I am still hesitant because of the elevation spread that I ride in (occasionally down near sea level).
