SX 600 Suspension Question

I have a 1999 SX 600, How much of the front limiter strap bolt should be sticking past the nut?

15mm from the top of the bracket it passes through. That's the stock setting.

Really? That number is right out of my suspension tuning manual. there is a pic on this link with the limiter strap measurement.

I assume my SX600 Venom has the same setup. Mine stock setting had the bolt about an inch past the nut. I loosened it to about 1/4 inch (4 threads) sticking out of the nut (for better traction). Just did this last month.
