lost the motor in my Vmax 4 today

I was just riding it along and it started to tick I pretty much knew I lost one of the cyclinders so I shut it down and waited for my buddy to come back around. When he got there I started it back up and to let him listen and to get a nother opinion and then it went bang and split the crank case and blew out some parts. needless to say I wasn't to happy I just spent a week working on it and about the last 150 bucks I had to get it going today and she let me down again.

so now what do I do?
part it out? Cause I dont have the cash to get it together right now and not anytime soon either.

or just take a loss and sell it whole?

unless someone has a motor?
 
welcome to the site man, sorry it couldn't have been under better circumstances.

as far as parting out vs selling whole, I think that'd depend on whether you've got any accessory's on it, if you've got quad pipes, part it out, they're worth a mint, if you don't have any high dollar accessory's it might get to be a trickier decision as you wont get alot for it in the shape it's in.
