just thought i'd list a few of my weekend takedowns with my stock except for clutching 98 srx 700. First was an xcr 800 started both doing about 80 km/h he was 100 yards ahead of me both pinned it and i walked right past him no problem then his buddy's newer xcr 800 pulled up and from a rolling start of 10km/h again i pulled away like nothing. Then on sunday raced a polaris
pro-x 700 from a dead stop wasn't even a race guy gave up after like 600 feet cause i beat him so bad. Then later that day guy on an F7 pulled up next to me and i heard these were quick so i was kinda nervous but thought what the hell so we started rolling start at about 5 km/h the first time we were dead even when we let off at about 1000-1500 feet so next time we started from a dead stop and that time at about 1500 feet i was ahead of him by 3 sled lengths. So after this weekend i felt pretty damn good about my srx knowing that she could hold her own pretty well. and thanks to all the great info i'm getting from all you guys on this site she's only gonna get faster and the takedown list get longer thanks guys. :die: :rocks: :WayCool:

oh ya forgot to list one also took down a mach Z 800 looked to be a 99 or 2000 again took off from a rolling start and after about 2000 feet was 4 sled lengths ahead. man can't wait till i put my new helix in and then see how i do right now i'm running stock secondary.

What helix do you want to try? I have a very nice Hauck 51/43.
Let me know. I was thinking of going out but to busy. What trails did you ride?

2 of my favorite kills from the past:

Both guys on BRAND new 01 Thundercats (you know the type, go to dealer and want the fastest sled made) , me on my little 00SRX.

Lake had maybe 6" of snow, so us trail studded guys could actually have a little fun, these guys where studded as well.

Long story short, I pulled these guys time after time from a stop up and over 100mph. They started actually stalking me to run me, since that little 700 should not beat my all mighty 1000 right?? After running at LEAST 10 times without getting closer than my flap, one of the guys walks over and asked me "how much did that big bore run ya" and admitted he had some clutching done and still could not catch me. He refused to believe that my sled was completey stock with the exception of clutching compliments of a colaborated effort from Mark Giametti (Mega Power) from back in the day.

I still grin thinkin of those 2 guys, they had absolutly NO CLUE that there almighty Thundercats could be beat.
