UP Ride
I was considering it, but it doesn't look like there is much snow left after the weekend?

I was thinkin the same thing.... what snow??? it was in the mid 50s here the other day (negaunee) but I guess if anyone still has snow that is the area. We got a bunch of snow over the last couple days, but been in the 30s so the trails (last I knew) were mud and rock... it has cooled now so there is some potental for riding. I would go out tonight and check if I could.... I should be able to go ride them tomorrow.

I was in the Western UP this weekend. There was a lot of snow until Frid and it was beat by Sat, but it started to snow Sat around 6 and had not stopped by the time we left at 3PM yesterday. It was a very heavy wet snow and now it is cold. Supposed to get a few clippers this week so it should be fine. I am not exactly sure about the eastern UP but I would imagine it's the same. FYI.

We almost cancelled this trip last week and now I'm hearing It's been snowing up there for a few days and should keep snowing most of this week.
Glad we didn't cancel!!
We'll be riding to the falls on Thursday and will run toward Grand Marais on Friday.
We will be the group of mostly Artic Cat rentals with an SRX and SXR out front....If ya know what I mean.....Have a good trip!

Got report from a buddy down Iron Mnt way. He was saying excellent trails his way. I am out in about an hour and will let you know what it is like around here.
I just got back from Pine Stump Jan 21-26th
Trails were very good in all directions, a little snirty near towns.
Here is a pic you all should like:

look at that post and grin.... I just came in, trails were great. Some of the high traffic twisties had some issues, but over all I would call them very good to excellent around here right now. Drawback is this bright sunshiny 35 degree and climbing day...
