ANYONE HAVE THIS HAPPEN??
I WILL MAKE A LONG PASS........SEEMS FINE....ON THE WAY BACK IT WILL NOT PULL RPM.
THE HEAT EXCHANGERS DID NOT FEEL THAT HOT AND THERE WAS PLENTY OF SNOW, ABOUT 35 DEG AND THE LIGHT CAME ON
DRIVING BACK THE TRAILER.
WHAT GIVES?? :o|

I've ridden with groups of slowbees and had to pull over because my hot light came on. Other time it came on when I was pulling another sled. I don't know what gives either. I installed a rear exchanger this year but looking at it, don't think it is going to make that big of a difference.

Check the thermostate to see if it opening properly. I had my '03 do that not long after I bought it and the thermostate was not opening at the proper temp. and after checking a couple times it was very erratic, change to new thermo. and no problems since.
To bleed system......run sled up on ramp of trailer and loosen radiator cap to first notch and watch for air bubbles in overflow tank. Best way I have found to do bleeding.

Check your hoses

If your light is coming on and there are other Vipers around, pop the hood and grab the hoses (caution) to see if they are noticably different temps. If one is truly overheating and the other is not then you should be able to feel a difference. If you truly are overheating and you have the rear cooler then it may be either that you need to burp the system or it could be the water pump seal. Are you losing coolant?
