Has This Ever Happened To You???
Had my first breakdown of the season. I am not a mechanic but I will try and explain my problem. The front shock on the suspension ( under the gas tank in the tunnel) is connected at the top and at the bottom it is connected to a bar then the bar is bolted to each side of the suspension just above the sliders on the frame of the suspension. Well somehow both bolts have broke off . I heard a sudden rattling when I hit a bump and when I checked I noticed the bottom bar that the spring is bolted to was loose. Both bolts that thread into this bar were broken off or scheard off. Has this happened to anyone else before?? Secondly, I have someone who has a 97 vmax suspension , are the 97 and 98 suspensions the same?? Both are not 2 ups. If it will not fit just wonderding if someone would know the cost of a new one. The cost of a new bar not the whole suspension Thanks Guys Dicema
