help with power valves

need help, had a guy do my service this year and when I went behind to make sure everything was done it looked like the power valves were all upside down, which is the propor way for them to be cut side up or cut side down? thanks for any help

Dish side goes down.

The relief in the power valve goes up.

so which is it??? the manual show the bevel going down on page 141 of srvc manual and page 142 maybe missleading, but show the bevel up

the bevel goes down.

The bevel went down to Georgia (I think there's a song in there)--- so bevel the goes down.
