Hi im new here and have a couple of questions.
I have a 97 yamaha sx700 vmaxtripple single pipe, pretty much stock just a bender can, was thinking of getting a hauck boost bottle will it give me any gains do i have to jet.
also i just purchased snopro reed spacers from royal distributing, are they worth it. (i install them between reeds and the motor right)
also was looking at the maxxperf rocket roller kit is it good.
im very new to clutching and dont want to do anything to sacrifice my motor, what would be the best spring and helix angle to use Im looking for increased midrange, and top end.
looking at getting the maxxperformance rocket roller is it good.
help i need to go faster.
thanks jason

Welcome aboard! There are lots of clutch setups already floating around the forum and some in the tech section of the main site. Make sure you check out the SX700 setups and not the SRX700 setups, a little different.

Reed spacers go between the reed cages and the motor.
You could probably spend money on getting the clutching right before playing with the roller, IMO.
Someone else will have to chime in on the other stuff.

first of all, take off the can, it only LOSES you power, GAINS sound. Second, the boost bottle really helps if you have engine mods done, won't see too big of gains with a stock motor... very slight, you should not have to re-jet. Reed spacers are worth every penny, will clean up the throttle response a lot. They unblock the intake port that the reed stopper is blocking. A roller secondary is probably going to lose you top end, although it will give you a harder upshift and lightning fast backshift. You will also have to tune the primary to get optimum results from the roller secondary.
Since you are new to the site, just about every question you have asked has already been answered. You can try a search by clicking the button on the top bar menu. You will probably find all the info you need about anything you are doing to your sled without even posting a thread.
Last but not least, welcome.
