94 vmax 600 track wheel question? PICTURE UPDATE

the track slides has 2 wheels up at the very front of the slides. My 95 and 97 vamx do not have these wheels there. Why did they change to no wheels on the later models?
What would you do? put them on or not. will this be helpfull in anyway? Any imput is welcome.

slider wear was a bitch on the 94's, had one before the wheels were added and burned up the sliders and both rails, yes rails in one ride of 50 miles. and the sled was brand new too ! it was the "break" in ride for it, hardpack snow killed it but warrenty covered it all plus a track. they say the bend in the rails was too sharp or something? but after the wheels i had no trouble.

The way it sound it to keep them on. With that said i will replace the bearings and put them on the dx sled.
