Here in eastern Newofundland we got 20cms already this afternoon, ....30cms coming tonight, ...and 5-10cms tomorrow afternoon. Last weekend we only had 10cms on the ground and we were hitting rocks here and there on the trails (we HAD to get out for our FIRST run), but there were hundreds of sleds out.
Chances are work will be shutdown tomorrow, so you'll know what I'll be doing. Bring it on.
I'll post pics tomorrow.
Roger.

Rough conversions:
10cm=4"
20cm=8"
30cm=12" (notice a trend here

Exact conversions
10cm=3.937"
20cm=7.874"
30cm=11.811"
cm x 0.3937 = inches
mm x 0.03937 = inches
Send some snow here to Michigan, we need it bad...

lol we've be riding up here since November, the snow is now half way up my living room window! Lab. City is on the mainland part of of NL (approx. coordinates: 53N / 67W) The weather is usually much colder here (sometimes too cold). I love Labrador! Guaranteed lots of snow and long winters, but I don't snowmobile as much as I used too. Almost got 10000 miles on the Viper in total. It's kinda isolated here though and there isn't a whole lot of trails here (unless you want to trek for hundreds of miles packing your own gas).
There are a few small loops (100 miles or less that are great if you want to somewhere to ride for a few hours, there are warm up chalets every so many miles along the trail. Tourists love it, we put guest books in some chalets for locals and tourists to sign, It's great reading their comments and seeing where they're from, USA, Austrailia, etc...
As a local, riding these same trails over and over is gets a bit boaring after a while so we mainly boon dock and ditch bang. Lab. City has amazing back country. I will be ordering a new sled for next winter better suited for this type of riding, I think the new Yamaha will be right up my alley! Can't wait for Feb. 13th! Chances are I won't be jumping ship, the Viper treated me good and I'm ready for one of those high perf 4-strokes, bring it on!

must be nice pv, our total inches of rain and freezing rain is probably more than the amount of snow we've had all winter
