hi guys , I just installed studs on my 1 1/4 connected cone track on my sx. my worries are enuff clearance. although it dosnt actually hit rotating by hand , it rubs ever so slightly when i spin i t question is what do you guys think, is it goin to be alright to rider like that or will it cause a major problem down the road....or will it SETIN... so tospeak. not gonna have time to test er out b4 i head to the soo...any one have experience with this? the studs have plenty of room ..no worries there its just the track

It depends where it is rubbing, please elaborate.

But the most likely situation here is that there will not be enough clearance. There should at least by .5" clearance at the tightest spot from the tip of the stud to the part of the chassis.

No, No........... I have plenty of room for the studs to clear the chasis , its the rubber im concerned with hitting the protectors, Theres about an 1/8 inch clearence there. Im hoping that that wont be a problem... studs are not a factor... and no ,i did not put 8 tooth drivers in ..if i did i would not be concerned

i have the same track on my 97 sx vmax if it is just the rubber hitting the top of the protectors then that will just wear it as you ride it, should not be a problem.
