I'm thinking of taking the heelclickers out of my SRX and putting in a set of 8DN's but I'm not if I'd be doing the right thing here or not.My reasoning in doing this would be the return to Yamaha parts(springs & weights) and to reduce the operating temps of my clutches as it seems that since I switched to heelclickers that the belt and clutch temps went up.I do have everything ligned up and as clean as I can get it so there should'nt be any binding or any other reason for the extra heat and I dont think its just my imagination.Do you guys think that this sounds reasonable?I'm not into lake racing much with my sled just mostly trail riding and it seems that some of the guys on here are getting some pretty wicked setups with 8DN 20's which are alot cheaper than the Clickers, plus I can get by having to use that damn red spring which makes clutch service so inviting!!

If you go to the tech and trail forum and look in the tech FAQ mr viper has a good post on heel clickers. I had problems with a heavy hitter or hammer time kit and did not like the spring so i went back to stock but drilled out the rivot holes and used there adjustable wieghts.readjusted once with one washer on the tip and now every thing is working mint.
