which is a better sled 00 sxr or 02 vmax?

Right now I have a 97 vmax xtc 600 and I like the ride so I would like to get a sled like I have now.
who can tell me what differences are between these sleds? Which one has a better ride?

00 sxr 700
02 vmax 600 er

Well we have the same sled. If I were to pick one of those 2 I would get the '02 everytime. The reverse is worth the power difference. I wish I have it everytime we have to do a 180 on the "Trail".
 
Teh SXR is going to be WAY faster. The suspensions are nearly the same to the ride difference would be neglibable if you set them up the same. And yes, I'd LOVE to have reverse...
 
I have an 02 VMax 600, great sled! but not fast by any streatch of the imagination. But fast enough to keep up with the Viper trail riding like normal folk... not snow cross.... I couldn't live without the electric start and reverse. My wife and kids are happy with the VMax, even my teen age son.

But if you want to go fast the sxr is the way to go...
 
both sleds I am looking at have electric and reverse.

both sled that I said about earlier have
electric start
reverse
mirrors

srx has the studs and the vmax does not
I can get it for 2200

vmax I can get for 2600

Well then it all depends on condition. If the SX-R was rode hard and put away wet I'd go for the Vmax but if the SX-R was in good condition and I was the one planning on riding it then for all means grab it. Basically they are very similar sleds part from the motor's.

sxr will have the aluminum rebuildable shocks. 2001 the non power valved triples got the updated 300 Watt electrical which give much improved lighting.
