Guys, if noone tore him down on the day, you have no proof that he wasn't running his stock bore top-end, if he admits to running the oversized carbs then he IS DQ'd, and it's damned good of him to admit it because you'd have a real great time trying to prove what carbs he was running that day.
people cheat, that's how this works, if you didn't tech him, that's your responsibility.
if that's how you look at it, I don't want anything to do with your race organization, it's not about how much power it gains, it's about violating the rules. even a bored stock set is CLEARLY in violation, nomatter who's sled they're on.

stop with the smoke & mirrors. the problem is not the size of the carbs ( that doesn't mean a lot ) but the size of the cylinders ( that does mean a lot ).
