Hello Everyone,
I'm hoping I can get some help w/ weight transfer on my 03' Viper. I've had problems w/ dartiness in the front. This year we put on 7" shapers to help w/ this. I noticed a difference w/ the new shapers but I still had problems. Two weeks ago we adjusted the straps to put more weight on the skies. When we did this we also adjusted the weight transfer. I rode it for the first time last weekend the steering is now great w/ no more dartiness. However I had no weight transfer to the rearend at all. I felt every bump I went over so much that I couldn't even get the skies to toggle over the bumps, w/ each bump the seat was comming up and hitting me in the ***. I also had problems keeping the *** end from sliding allover the trail. At a stop we adjusted the weight transfer again back to stock this was much better but still not great. I know adjustable transfer rods is the way to go but I'm hoping you guy's can give me some advice on how to adjust it for the more aggressive stearing that I love and also have it handle well over the bumps. Looking for all suggestions!!
