New to the area......Anybody Ride?????

I am new to Indiana and looking to go riding somewhere.....probably have to be up in Michigan with the crappy winter were having. I just moved from CT and we would ride up in VT, ME, and NH. Im dying to get out and ride. Im finally all settled after just moving and was wondering if anybody out there would be willing to let me tag along some time. I was looking not to drive more than like 6 hours north to MI. That puts me somewheres around Cadillac, MI. Let me know if anybody is riding up there. Also, if there is anybody from Indiana who makes the trek up there, I would be willing to drive up there with you. Thanks
 
We are in the planning stages of a day trip ride to the Manton/Kalkaska/Traverse City area this coming Saturday. We normally leave the trailhead pretty early... like 9:00 or so eastern time. I'm sure we could add another if you are interested. Easy to find the trailhead parking area too.
 
The Irons/Wellston area has alot of trails that run into the cadillac trail system. They are slowly getting snow back. They may be rideable by the weekend. I am friends with one of the groomers up there and will call on wednesday to check conditions. They had another recent warm-up like everyone else. Look up the irons area tourist association they have maps and www.fishweb.com does also. Wellston has alot of places to stay on highway 55 in Irons you are limited to places to stay.
