need help gonna race for slips

this guys has a polaris xcsp 800 twin i belive not sure of the year but it is studded clutched jetted and possibly piped, wants to race my 02 viper with simons cpr triple pipes, jetted , studded and clutched orange primary spring green secondary and a 48/40 helix what u guys think do i have a chance if not what more can i do to be assured :die:
 
dont worry about it if you do a long pull. i have a 700 polaris twin which is nearly as strong as the 800 and it will probably take you 0-60 but they have NO top end! if you are still running the stock track toss it and get a good one. then he might not kill you on the bottom end.
 
That 02 Viper with Triple Pipes & Goodies must be around 140 HP, And will SMOKE him . :WayCool:


My 01 Stock SRX Destroyed those things...........U sure can't be far off of my SRX. Can't believe he wants to race for pinks....


........I honestly doubt that A Fully Modified XCSP 800 Poo could beat either one.
 
Is it really worth it? Im not hurting for money , but Im not willing to throw it away either! Good Luck!

NOPE..........I was RIDING DOUBLE on mine at the time.............HECK I rarely get too RIDE ALONE.........

You know I believe.... but I've seen some weird things out there that no one can explain either...
 
Well now that you asked, I wish to ask also, I havea VMAX 600 95 2 cylinder
My brotherinlaw has a Polaris 600 indy xlt. without the actual racing who would kick who?

I've can beat my buddies 800 Pro x every other time with my piped sx.. Depends on the hole shot. I probably have a 75 pound weight advantage though.
 
The last time I saw a good race was... "You guys want to get beat by a Viper?" The other guys both had 800 Doo's. Yes the Viper spanked them bad, BUT had the proper clutch adjustments not been made, it could have gone the other way.
 
i just not sure cause what if this guy is yankin my chain and has somethin totally sick!!!!, but if it is an 800 there really cant be much more to be doen then what he told me already
 
live on the edge, go for it, it's only a snowmobile, and all it takes is money to buy a new one, but it's your sled and your money.
 
how can you race a guy for slips without knowing what you are up against? Look under his hook, let him look under yours. Seems fair to me.
