clutch engagement??

I have a 03 Vmax 600 triple

At what RPM should the clutch engauge?

my clutch engages at 4500 to 5000. its smooth just very high RPMs

is this normal for this sled or is there a problem?

since it is mid season is it safe to run the sled like this for a few more weeks?

Check your belt deflection (tech pages). Is your belt worn? Are your clutches clean? You should be able to find the factory specs for engagement in the tech pages as well. I think it should be around 4200.

brand new belt and clean clutchs
