oK i have a 97 sx 700 and have been running the yamaha 8dn-001 belt which i think is for a srx, i bought the sled with this belt on it so just keep using the same one.
Is the dayco ultimax 3 better (Dayco gives a different part number from the sx to the srx)
but the gates xtreme belt has the same part # for the sx and srx
so do we use the same belt.
im confused please help, Oh i need to order a new belt tommorrow for the weekend.

the only thing good about the ultimax is the warranty which you will need as they are inferior. the 8dn is mega tough

I have a dayco and 2 OEM belts. Dayco squeels like a pig at idle... makes the sled drift (and yes it's the right part number for my sled). OEM belts seem to work just as well... no squeel, no drift.
