Well, we got about 3-4" today so I got to rip up the road a few times (nice packed surface thanks to it being a side street with a slow speed limit). Well, with the new piston, jug, rings, and thinner head gasket it sure seems to have a lot more get up and go. I didn't go past 6000 rpm at all... I don't want to hurt it before I get to really ride it tomorrow in the Kalkaska area. Break in is important!

Did you get the head off and find out why it seized up ? Did it damage anything ?
