Heading to Gaylord Wed! I need some help on what to bring! I am a worry wart( Bought 2 spares for the trailer) I have 4 gal of oil 10 plugs! tools,That stuff is covered! what are the things that with your experience I should take! Thank you!

Sounds dumb but I carry a spare trailer hub complete with bearings. Had one blow on me before and almost had to leave the trailer on the side of the road. This might not be for eveyone though.

2 keys each, helmet in the gear bag 2 dragon goggles 2 sets of pants(Snowmobile ), buying trail permit when we get there(can do that right?) I like the hub idea! Registration #'s are coming guess I got to get thoes on!Thanks guys! The guy I am taking with me keeps saying he wants to stay at some place called BROKE BACK MOUNTAIN! Ever heard of it!?? LOL!!

You can get a trail permit at any dealer, most Walmarts, Meijers stores... $25 for residents... not sure if it's any different for non-residents.

There are SEVERAL dealers in the Gaylord area. And a Walmart.

toilet paper

now there is a priority!

Take a camera, gaylord is awesome.... I always figure as long as I have my ID and my credit card every thing else isn't an issue.

Cost of trail permits are the same for out of staters. You don't have to display your KY numbers but you have to display your current sticker on the sled. Be sure to take you registration and insurance card with you.

If you're staying at that Broke Back place, sounds like you're gonna need a good supply of KY. If your buddy is the one that wants to stay there, you might want some No-Doze and make sure you sleep on your back!

Yea he is a sneeky bastard! I will sleep with one eye open (eyeball) & the finger on the trigger!! LOL!

I have the reg but insurance? I looked all over the Mi gov page it does not say I have to carry insurance! I Tried to check into insurance once but Kentucky is a title state! I cannot even reg here! This place used to be a dumping ground for stolen cars, etc.. so if you do not have a title it does not get reg in KY!

My cousin sent me some maps will get one once I am there! Wished I had a GPS! Would not know where to start to get the right one!

if it already hasn't been covered, a trail map(no brainer)-- if you don't know the area- or a GPS if you're into them
