I have a 121" picked track, stock drivers, Long Travel with Viper Shocks, Maxxperf adj transfer rods and marginal snow wheel kit.

I primarily ride the big trails in Northern Maine. I have it a little on the tight side and think I need to loosen it, but I was wondering how most guys set theres up.

loose is fast... to tight takes away hps... but too loose and youll get racheting, there is a fine line there..... or spend the money on anti rachet divers

I have cooler guards on the front cooler and my track is only a 3/4" lug. I loosened it a little. It hangs about a 1/2" from the sliders at midspan, but is snug up on the bend. I have my limiters 3/4" past the nut. With a medium pull on the track (I don't have a scale) I can get it to 1" to 1-1/4" at midspan. It doesn't seem overlly sloppy. I'll have to try it this way and see how it goes. We're leaving wednesday for a big trip, I'll tweak it after I put a few miles on it.
