XTC Twin 600 water pump belt

I replaced pump, belt ,seals all of it there! no way to tighten! It just goes over each pully by hand! How much play do you have? I replaced mine just because I figured I better! The belt itself is like an ond enticer fan belt!

WRONG!!!!!.......the pully on the fly wheel splits in half.. there's 3 bolts you
take out and remove a shim(there's 3 in there diff. thickness) put your
belt back on with the pully half and re tighten,,belt then rides higher in the
pully thus is tighter...

Hey thanks. We got it tightened just now. It had a .5mm shim and a 1mm shim in there (someone had already removed one). I tried getting it back together with the 1mm shim removed but it was too tight. I had to put the 1mm back in without the .5 then I was able to get it back together. It's tight now! ;)! ;):D

Obviously don't throw that shim away.:) yea... i know you knew that.
