as some have noticed with my avatar i got my first new sled! real pics to come, but it looks exactly the same as the one below except i have the mtn skis instead. one of the last 06 attaks in the area. i got it just in time too. i rerally didnt want to wait a few months to pay $1,000 more for the exact same sled with new graphics! now i just need to stud it up (162 should do it) and get up north and break it in. dealer said keep it under 6,000 rpm for the first 500 miles, thats funny! what does that equal for speed 35mph! it will stay close to stock for a while then a mod or two. here is a hint of what im thinking. :nos: now i need to sell the pro x. i decieded to keep the viper too!

I wish i could find/afford a 06 attak. It would be my choice for a new sled. Guess a red/silver warrior might be what works, maybe blue. Maxdlx

never heard of the 6000 rpm rule. when breaking in my fathers 04' rx1 mnt. we raced it in 660' drags with only 400 kms and she was awesome, i think it was because of the break-in.

the dealer i bought it from has a matching pair of red and silver 04 anniversary warriors with simmons. very nice looking sled!

If I was to get a 4cyl fourstroke, itd be that exact one, no kidding. Ill never ride a 121", especially with all the power that 150FI engine makes, no way will a 121" have enough traction, not to mention the way the 136" bridges gaps in the trail and lake, no kidding, there is a huge difference. Also, got to have the Yamaha blue!

Rock on, enjoy the ride!

Thanks alot!

I wanted the long track and couldnt find one so bought a venture in the spring of 2001 and been slowly modding it year by year.

Im planning on putting it in the photos section in the next few days, just got to get some more pictures uploaded.

nice sled, good stuff! any miles on it at all yet? you will like that mill, it is just SOOOOOOO smooth adn snappy. feels a LOT slower than it is actually going because it is so stable and smooth :) rode an apex gt last thursday and loved it. have they come up with a handwarmer fix for them yet??

Breaking in.........

Question?
When you buy a snowmo at a dealer are there any guarantees? Like when you buy a car.....

Dario
there is a 1 year warranty from yamaha if thats what you mean.

no miles yet. the odometer is all 0000.0's! i will go ridind next week. i got to try richieriches for a couple miles early this season so i know what to expect, great power, smooth ride and a bit tippier feeling than the viper. i did order a 12mm swaybar and am putting 05 mtn skis on with the spacers set for a 1" wider stance to help that though. it looks like the 07's have full bars with curved ends and full length heaters, so i expect that to be the update for the 06's.
