Well hopefully. The idea with warming it up is that it brings the engine to the state where it is operated at, so you get more realistic numbers, for better or worse.

If you warm it up and see no difference, then do this...Tape the throttle open when testing, it gives more accurate numbers. If they even out when throttle is taped open, usually this is telling you you need to sync the carbs.

Ijust held the throttle open while a pulled . Pull 4 times for each cylinder, that should do. I think that 150 is high. If it truly is 150 then someone did something to it, either cut the heads or thinner gasket. The 120 being much lower is cause to pull the cylinder and look. I think that new cylinders and rings will yield a 135 psi cranking compression reading in a STOCK 2001.
