Engine rebuild time

I just broke ring again on my 01 SXR 700 which took out the jug (same cyl as the last time, pto side). I was wondering if anyone can steer me to somewhere that I can buy at a half decent price. I live in Canada but I don't mind having the parts shipped to the border and going to pick them up.

Those jugs r off of a 97 700 will they fit on my 01.

The part # r different but he says that yamaha changes part #'s for different years.

Yep they will. I went the other way. Used an 01' top end on my 97'
Had to plug the hole in the head that was for the heated carbs
