Nice –

The engine – that would be the back we see – facing the seat right?

Is the secondary a smaller O.D. than normal?

The engine looks to have long pistons – I wonder if that’s based on the WR or YZ platform?

Looks like the ignition rotor is small – I can’t tell?

Is the intake a manifold – in other words - can the injection be removed and replaced YZ250 carbs? I wonder – or - what’s the chance of re-mapping the injectors?

Thanks

The motor is 2 yz250f dirt bike cylinders working together with special crank and crankcase. This thing will surprise alot of people. As far as the 80 HP complaints, most of those are coming from Viper and SRX owners. This machine isn't a lake racer and wasn't designed to be in any way. This machine was built for ditchbanging and tight and twisty trails and will excel at those. I can't wait to see it run with the 600 REVs at the sno-x track. It is at a advantage because it will always be in it's powerband.

I'm probibly going to sell the sx-r and get one, probibly double the fuel economy and alot more fun off the trails too. turbo charging shouldn't be too hard either. A new Garrett GT15 turbo 499$, Bosch BOV 50$, Intercooler 100$, and 50$ in piping. 699$ in hard parts and it shouldn't be too hard to figure out the extra fuel part (built a few turbo/supercharger setups for auto's before)

I wonder where a guy will have to put his registration stickers on the new Phazers. There isn't much room 'em anywhere. My initial guess would be that they'd have to go on the sides of the gas tank rather than anywhere on the "hood". Ideas?
