Help, Over revving.......I Fixed it!

I rolled my 2001 700 5 weeks ago. It hit the ground so hard upside down that 2 sparkplug caps were broken, along with cosmetic stuff, my collar bone, and my pride. Its fixed up and ready to go, except it revs high. It idles around 4000 and when I'm coming to a stop, I need the brake to get it under 5000. While I was repairing it I found what looks like a small fuse. About 1/8" x 1/2". Would this be the resistor from the spark plug cap?
I've looked at the cables and the choke. When there is no throttle applied, the throttle bottoms out against the adjuster where it did before the roll over. Same for the choke. The cables look and work fine. Is it possible that it hit so hard that a float is bent in the carb?
Any ideas?

I removed the carbs and thourghly inspected them. With the carbs removed I could tell that the bracket that holds the cable and stopper were slightly bent. Bent everything bank into place, put the carbs back together, and reinstall everything. It runs like new again.
