a "dropped and rolled" chain case is what and why exacly?

what does it do to track angle and what happens to jackshaft location?


unfamiliar with this mod and would like to get it straight.. thanks.
 
chaincase is relocated down and back. reduced track angle, allows bigger drivers, increases track to tunnel clearance. jackshaft moves proportionately. lots of work but a big payoff if you ride in the deep stuff

when said "jackshaft moves proportioanately", means centre to centre stays the same but jackshaft IS relocated?? Is this correct?

Yeah the primary and secondary center-to-center doesn't change, so you can use the stock drive belt.

Also, the engine doesn't move, just the secondary and jack shaft. Something like this:
