belly pan
hey 99,
if you are only doing one side it is pretty simple and wouldnt take very long. the entire thing is held on by rivets. if you are doing the entire pan including the center section, that is a real pain in the a%%. when my son changed his we had already purchased the belly pan and then ordered the rivets needed from our local dealer ($1 each) I think you will find there are two different types most are the same except the ones that go into the bottom of the running boards are not black or blue. you may need to remove the pipes and can if it is that side. one note of caution, if you are replacing the clutch side be very very careful when you drill out the rivets from underneath. one of the coolant lines is right in the way and can be easily drilled through. I drilled through one and paid another $30 bucks for not paying attention.Good Luck

Speaking of rivets.
Check out ebay you can get 3/16" large head rivets in different colors. Black is black but the blue looks to be a pretty close fit to Yamaha blue. They're cheap.
