How about starting some TY clubs in various areas? Just an idea.

With Ty members being the number they maybe it would be a good idea to setup a TY snowmobile club with a few different districts in a few states. It would to meet fellow club members in your area. Especially when we organize TY rides. It would be nice to be able to meet other members and could increase TY ride attendance. It is alot easier to share room expense with someone you know a little. Also could share a ride to get too them. I do not know what it would take to organize this. Just thought it would be a good idea for off-season. I think this could really open up a line of communication and nothing wrong with hanging out and having a few cold ones while talking snowmobiles.
 
It's a good idea, don't know if it would fly but a good idea none the less. I would think a volunteer would be needed for each 'district' first, and then maybe some help from TY administration in sending out a general email to members to check out a certain page/forum with contact info for each 'district'. Maybe 3 non-sledding get togethers through the year......or whatever. That said, at the moment, I won't be one of those volunteers. :)
 
It would be wicked if we were set one up for the Ottawa region we have some of the best trails around and snowmobile firendly towns. Im in ;)!

We can start with this sunday mar 5th. We are leaving Orleans at about 9:45 am to head to the yami Fest ride.

SRX7 i think i'm in, I'm going to see if my roomate will come also, I really want to try that Apex Bad. My roomate has had some bad luck this year and he might have the new sled bug, he said by the end of this winter or the summer he going to buy a new sled. I sent you a PM so get back to me and we will make plans. ;)!
 
Just currious as to how many of you that want a ty club are members of a snowmobile club in your own areas! Dont you think that a ty club is a bit of arrogance to other snowmobilers? I mean ,i dont want to be pinned as a arctic yam cat man !!

hey bendersrx and srx7 hang a ty sign around your selves or smething to i can tell who your are. im going to that party also. probably bringing my dad and acouple guys with me but we will be in my car though.
 
My SRX has an american flag and canadian flag on it, so look for the sled and Ill be around it.

Well the only good pick i have of my sled here at the office. You can see that i have my licence plate on the front nose of my sled.
