07 Doo's

"47 inch ski stance" ?? I think they are measuring from the outside wear bar to the other outside wear bar. Not centre to centre like everybody else. Yamaha is the only mfg. that still measures the rear susp. travel as true vertical as well. There 11.6" of true vertical rear travel is more than most. (monoshock)
Which Doo engine are you comparing gas mileage with the Attack? At 109 hp, maybe you should consider comparing to a Vector. The SDI that I ride with, a 600, gets almost as good a mileage as the Viper and uses a lot more oil. I know that is not representative of all SDI's, but that is part of their problem, you buy one and you don't know what your going to get, a good one or a problem one. And the dealers don't know how to fix them.

I'll agree to that. One of my buddies just bought an 06 rev 600ho sdi. It has about 100 miles on it and the thing has been to the dealer for numerous skidoo recals and it's own problems with the sdi, suspension and steering. The dealer is family owned and they admit they have no clue what to do because skidoo won't help..or just can't.

I will guarantee ya, unless the trail is totally pounded to $hit, you won't have a chance in the twistys!!!!!!

What trails??? IMO most trail riding is boring anyway. There are no twisites when you're blasting through ditches so why have a corner carving sled?? This is the main reason my next sled will be a Doo or Cat. Probably Doo though. ;):D ;):D My .02 I guess.

When there is no snow in the ditches, isn't that boring too, or are the rocks and culverts fun to hit? :o|

If we don't start getting winters with good snow sometime soon then all the manufacturers are going to have to be building sleds that ride good in marginal snow conditions. If these winters keep it up I won't be worried what sled manufacturer to go to it will be what company sells the best quad, or boat for that matter..

guys don't worry cause after a global warm up its always fowled by an ice age or a deep chill. has to do with the salinity of the ocean by the poles. too much freshwater(glacial melt off) the convection currents shut down and warm water from the equator stops heading up north. I'm just looking for a way to speed up the processe.

It's hard to tell if it is global warming or if it's just in the cycle of bad winters....
I don't know whether to try and sell the sled or keep waitin.

S.S. Why do you have the handle bar hooks if you ain't carvin? LOL
ya know what i mean though!!

I'll agree the 06's are better, not that great.

I do carve when there's snow to carve in, but usually there isn't any around home, but when we go on trips out west the hooks are nice for the powder. They're nice to have even while ditchbanging because sometimes my hands slip off the bars.

Don't knock it till you've tried it. :Moon: :Moon:

it is just an off winter. global warming does not just HIT like this. just on a cycle, will get better :)

I know, me neither. I want to stay away from them rocks too. Don't want to have another encounter like I did with my SRX. Your stuff is always in top shape. Every time I see your R1 it looks like it just left the showroom ;)! That Raven Black has to be the sweetest paint scheme ever. One of my college buddies wants to buy my ZX-6, so then I can get a R6. Probably not the Raven Black though as they only made them in '05. I'll probably get an '03-'04 Blue R6. :yam: :yam:

Was kinda thinking about keeping my bike and buying a quad or a dirt bike but I don't think I would ride it enough. Not to mention, there's not a whole lot of places to ride them around here.
