Do you have adjustable transfer rods? Typically it's crank the center shock, back off the rear and let out the limiters. One step at a time till you find your happy place. Check the tech pages. where u at in nl.

Stock rods are not adjustable. But your upper and lower gaps should be even with you on the sled. Or close to it anyway. There is lots of info in the tech pages. Good to see another newf on the site. I'm in Paradise but originally from Bay Roberts. My best bud is from Marystown.

May I ask why lifting the ski's is proof that you have good traction?
The only time my XTC lifts the ski's is when I power thru a bank large bump or jump it.
Problem is the type of suspension the Pro-Action is is a true parallelogram and unless itis way out of adjustment or has add-on "Accessories" there is not enough "Squating" of the rear to produce enough angle to lift the ski's.
Then again you could also have a traction issue. What 1" track are you running?

See my avatar. Its a 600 Venture. I get crapped on for having a 2-up but I love it. You wouldn't believe what a difference a little bit of clutching makes to a sleepy old dad machine. And yes we have tons of snow. Going for a ride this weekend and hope to have some pics to post.

Nothing wrong with the Venture. It's still a Yamaha.

Fuzzbutt is right. Lifting the skis doesn't really mean you don't have good traction. Depends on snow conditions. Everybody knows that proaction skids don't have ideal transfer but its a job to steer with your skis in the air. I watched races this weekend and the guys were getting some ski lift but these machines were brutes. Too much transfer ( like one cat I saw) and you have to get out of the throttle. Kind of defeats the purpose. Are you comparing holeshots against another sled?

The Track I Have Is A Ultimate Traction. Kimpex I Think. It Wasent That Expensive But A Big Difference. I Havent Really Tried Racing But If I Do I Want My Sled Set Up For It
