Ok I've got this sliding sheave from my primary that I cut down for the first gen Heelclickers and since I broke them ala a blown belt I no longer need the extra room for the weights as I now run the 3rd gens. Now what I'm about to ask is really reaching the edges of not wanting to throw anything away but is it possible to weld in the webbing that was cut out of the sheave to give it back its structural integrity and strength;I realize it would also have to be rebalanced. There are no visible cracks that the eye can see,or at least mine, and I have access to a couple of excellent machine shops in my particular area that do great work so I would trust them to do it if it was possible.I have replaced it with one from a clutch I bought for parts so I'm just looking for a possible spare part here and please take into consideration that a new sheave is $240 Canadian although that price was given to me a while back so with the fluctuations in currency its only a guess right now and I'm alomost sure it could be fixed and balanced for less than this.

If not does anyone need a cut down sliding sheave?
