I have done several searches but can't find a clear answer. How much does 1 gram change RPM. I have read that 1 gram = 100-200 RPM change but is that 1 gram total or 1 gram per arm? I also know weight in the tip affects shift RPM more than center but how much?

1 gram per arm = 3 grams = 300 rpm. Weight in heel = low end, weight in middle = midrange, weight in tip = top end. With that said it also depends on how much total weight and weight profile. If you're looking for a setup for your SRX check the tech pages. There are a few good setups there. You can chase your tail by adding or subtracting weight in the wrong place or changing profiles. Make sure that anytime that you are changing clutching that your clutches are clean and your belt is in good condition and has proper deflection.

Thanks Yamanewf, that helps a lot. I got a set up from Mrviper700 and I went 2.4 grams heavier than what he said to do. I guess I wanted to beleive my motor would pull it. It did't. Don told me to undo what I had done and go with his exact set up. I did not realize how much of a change I had made to his set up.
