Cut out the loose track material. Take an old screw driver and heat it up til it's extremely hot. Then burn/seal the explosed chords in the riped section. It will help to stablize that particular damaged area of the track.

Thanks guys. I was a little worried because its on the outside belt. I will trim and melt. Kim is really starting to ride a little harder now that she has that sled.

outside belt is bad news no matter what you do. I would replace the track soon and when you stud again go square backers they might not look as nice but the do hold up better.

yup i wouldn't gamble on that track for too long, i blew a track at 100 on glare ice and i dont ever want to do that again. Guess where it ripped? Right at a stud pullout.
