started thinkin about sellin my sxr 500. what you think i could get for it?
its a 2001 sx500r bought new in 2004 with 3100km on sled. the can and clutching would stay with it. would have 02 viper stock track never studded with a 02 viper front end less spindles/knuckels.
got my eye on a 04 n/c viper-s or a 01 srx700 n/c.

I just picked up a nice 2001 VM 5 delux yesterday for $2,300,,basicly the
same sled,,should be able to get around that or $2,500 for it....

i just sold my 2000 600 sxr with 12000km on saturday. got $2800can for it and i kept all the extras(can, extra gears, extra windshields). so i would think you could get more than $3000 for it

You will get way more if you sell it in Canada. Put it in the Auto Trader or something. Should get some lookers.
book value at dealer is $3000-3500. ill try it in the trader.

By the way all TY memebers....Here is a guy (maim) that you wanna ride with and get to know...Straight up guy that offered my his spare machine to ride before him and I ever met (my machine was running rough). offered to pick up anpther TY memeber 45 minutes away for the ride. Helped me with my buddies RX1 with an exploded belt and dropped of his clutch alignment tools at my house...Thanks by the way Cam.

everyone keeps mentioning auto trader. I've gone to auto trader.com and I can't figure out where there is sleds on there. How do I get to this???

Then Click on search for sled or ATV, its a little blue wolverine pic that says "Search for sled or ATV" and is one fo the 4 to pick from.
Then
Other menu to search info
Then
Link to the only sleds you want to see
BTW, I did an all Ontario search, you can just check out the other search options, its quite easy.
Also, $3000 for that sled is a good selling price, I bet you could get a little more for it....

lol its not bein last that i mind........ its the fuel bill at the end of the trip that is gettin expensive. i dont mind being last as long as i am the one haulin the sleigh with the beer

just this past weekend I got 14.56 mpg on the 03 viper. mileage went up with the helix and spring 
and no, I wasnt riding like a granny

Go to autotrader.ca, but it's for Ontario Canada, lots of good deals..Tons of sleds for sale!!!!!

i wish. its clutched with vmaxjhons setup and i love it but 8mpg can only be achived if i granny drive it.................id go insane!
ill put it this way, you know how when the fuel tank is filled to the top and the gauge stays on full for awhile? best i can get till it moves is about 40km. my brothers 02 viper gets 60-70km on the same amount of gas. good think i wasnt riding it on the shortcut back on sunday, i would have ran out of gas on lake wanipitae! good thing i was torturing that rx1 at that time.
right now it has 140km on last tank of gas and there only is about 1/8 tank left. tank is same size as viper...........you do the math.

wow!!!! doesnt seem fair for you, not enough power for that mileage lol!! my 96 vmax 4 got that kinda mileage, but it was heavy and has some serious grunt to make it worht the terrible gas mileage lol!!!

www.autotrader.ca that is your problem. The canadian autotrader is the only one that has sleds and other stuff on it. One of my fave sights.
yeah I know Yamahammer was nice enough to direct me the right way at the top of this page. But I don't know how to convert the milage of the sleds of the price of them to U.S. Anyone know???
