Hello,
I was born and raised Yamaha. I've never wanted to own anything else, until now.
I'm selling my crazy powder beast for something small and inexpensive. I just want something I can pull kids in a sled with. I now spend any free time I have on weekends with my 3 year old son.
I see the new Yamaha Phazer, but it's $10,000 Canadian! Thats nuts.
I think I'm going with the 2007 Tundra. It only has a little more power than the bravo, but it's full of modern technology. It goes for $6,000 Canadian, which is way more affordable than the yamaha.
Anyone ridden the 2006 or 2007 Tundra? Seen any good discussions on it? What's your opinoin?
Thanks,
-Jon

Plastic city!!, thats what I thought
The build quality really surprised me on how bad it was, it looks so cheap and thrown together. For example, if you look at the single A-arm suspension, they alone look like crap but the shock mounts and everything look as though theyre going to snap right off just trying to load it on the trailer.
Plus, If you had to give up the SXR, you could always buy a sled like mine which is very affordable and relatively new in technology, plus itd be a good starter sled when your kids get older, oh, and it will last forever too.
Are you sure you want to give up the SXR, as getting a new sled is a big hassel I find..., plus the doo is not even a fraction as cool as your current sled.

I agree with Yamahammer, the sled looks very cheap it could break if you
hit a bump hard.
Plus you ain't going to get Yammies reliability. just my $,02

I know a few people that have bought the new Tundra, the sled is great in the snow but no POWER..I have pulled one guy out of the slush with my Venture go figure...Two of the three guys that I know ( they have a camp right by us ) are not impressed with them just because of the power issue, sure it's light but way under powered too bad there isn't a 440 under there it would help, maybe modern technology but it needs modern HP to weight......I would not pay $10,000 for the Phazer either!!!!!!

So, why dont you just buy a Venture XL? I agree, the single a-arm front suspension on the Doo is pretty flimsy.
(sorry to help doo out) but they have the 550fan in it now(unless that is just for the freestyle which it probley it), but its still ready to fall apart at any second (probley sooner with the added stress and weight) and is closer to the phazer price
