Thats right guys!

This year was the worst I have ever seen it in NY! I had a total of 8 inches at one point in time on the ground. Another, I had 0 inches for about 1 month straight, "january to feberary." All together I have put a grand total of 30 miles on my sled..hmmmmm In my 23 years on this beautiful planet I have yet to seen it like this.... :o|

I guess I will have to wait till next year. I knew I bought a motorcycle for a reason last year.haha .....Have fun my friends and be safe for the rest of the riding season. 'Cause my season is over.

Don't feel bad there's alot of guy's in the same boat your in..MI. wasn't
any better,my milage is down 70% this year to last..i just look forward
to next year.:),,Yea my season is over too...

somewhere around 250 miles for me this year and I fought for evey one of them. Cross our fingers for next year fellas. Time to break out the mountain bike and roller blades.

well... at least you had the 8 inches in ticonderoga at one point. Here in ballston spa the most we had was about 5 inches. All of jan and at least three weeks of feb were no snow at all. I was going to go to tug hill this weekend but it's about 45 out now, raining, and this weekend supposed to be almost 65. I'm pretty sure I'm parked for the season as well. Oh yeah a grand total of 65 miles, some of which were from my brother riding my sled.. I picked a bad year to get a newer sled..

It has been the worst winter ever, yet I have almost 2000 miles and hope to have one last ride. Just had to look hard for places that held the snow when other places lost it. Our 600 mile UP trip help to pad the mileage though. Sorry you guys missed out, I could not imagine not being able to ride at all!

Father in law says in his whole life of 48 years he has never seen it like this. I havn't riden my sled around my house this year once, the roughly 500 miles i have put on I traveled a total of 15 hours of highway miles to get there!

I managed to get 650 miles for the year, my only limiting factor was time off work. We have had really good conditions from our place on LG but last weekend was the last ride for me. Looks like mid 40's and rain for Saturday... Sure was nice while it lasted.

SRXBully you got those awesome white skis and only put on 5 miles???????? WTF??? I guess being sick all the time has it's advantages....

Bob where ya been ? You feeling better ?

Lack of snow in the back yard has dropped me down to 155 miles this year. Fun while it lasted. I look forward to a BLIZZARD yet this month though. Seems we are due for one last crash-em derby in western Michigan before the 5 month rain season sets in.

I put just over 200 miles on my sled this year. Every one of those miles was from screwing around on the lake, i didn't even come within 50 feet of a trail.

Worst winter EVER!

Northern Minnesota has been pretty good - we rode early (first week in December), and had some long dry spells, but we have had 24 inches of snow in the last two weeks which will extend the season - It looks like this weekend and next, would be iffy beyond that - some local clubs have quit grooming due to funds.

It's definately been the worst winter ever but I must say that I put on some pretty good mileage. Was able to get about 1250 miles on this year. The thing that really sucked was that all those miles occured in about a 4 week span, so the season was extremelly short, I feel like it just started and now its already over and now there is that 8-10 month period with no riding! :o|
I really have to tip my hat to the grooming crew in Old Forge, NY. For the amount of snow that we've had this year they have done a phenominal job in maintaining the trails. There was not one weekend this year that the trails were not being groomed, even if there were only a few inches on the trails. They really made it seem as if there was more snow than there was with the great job they did keeping the trails smooth. The sleds are now sitting in the garage covered up. Seasons over.....

Well South Western New Brunswick hasn't exaclty panned out this year either. In fact pretty much all the southern part has been left out in the cold,so to speak.I managed to put on about 300 miles but I had to travel 4 hours to do it,the only running I got around home was from my shed to the trailer all of about 40 feet.We were supposed to go for one last run on Sunday to Tuesday but the mild weather forcast for the weekend may just bring my season to a screeching halt. #$%&*

in about 2-3weeks our season will be done here unless i want to trailer up to timins or wawa. still got 2'+ on the ground but theyare callin for rain/frezzing rain/snow over the weekend. cant bitch about milage though. put more on this year than last year even with sled broken for 2 weeks in jan.

Timmins is an AWESOME area to ride in...

I got to ride up there while visiting my ex-girlfriend's sister a couple years ago. They lived in Kirkland Lake. NOTHING around here has compared... Aroostook County in Maine is probably the closest, but man, I envy you guys.

I was riding his ski-doo legend 500 and got that thing stuck so many times in such deep powder, it was unreal.

happens in 4 year intervals well atleast around here any way. was the same in 2002 get snow and it would melt. temp wise 2002 was worse the lake barely even froze and was open allot further then it was this year or usaly and i dont remeber a day in below 20*. i manage to put more miles on then i did in 2002 i know that much. even if it was only 160
