I think NY wants to do that for the day and night, not sure what's going on with it though. I think the biggest problem is drinking and driving and it needs to be addressed.

it's 55 on all trails day or night in MI. They don't really enforce it, but they can give you a ticket even on the lake.
Lucky for you guys, Here in Ontario the Maximum speed limit is 50Kms which converts to 30mph and thats day and night. No speed limits on lakes and Rivers. 55mph is awsome even for night

Minneslowta is 50 mph all the friggin time. the Vipe doesn't like 50.
yup it is. trail wardens even have portable radar in a holster. if your out early in the am though you dont usually see them unless there is an event on like yamafest.

I am fine with the speed limit at night. Could eliminate a few fatal accidents.

I am also fine with the 55 at night. I hate to see any extra rules or laws implemented, but this one makes sense. If people don't stop getting killed every week our sport could be in for rules and regs that take the fun right out of it.

hes right there is no speed limit on mi. trails and lakes ..but there is on the roads that u can legally ride on..and thats 55!..........They can give tickets for anything if they want to!richardspipes said:
