CB Performance Fleet! *PICS*

Yes, that is my brothers 98 SRX 600 with 2000 SRX graphics on the side. I agree that the black SRX looks great especially with our front end kit on it. That 600 is no slotch either, have had it up to 110 or radar. Fast sled!

LOL, I liked all of them of course!, hahaha!

Your collection reminds me of me and my buddies sleds that we ride with, looks quiite similar. 98 SRX700, my sled, 97 SX700, 96Vmax600, then sometimes my dads VT1000TF

There is someone who lives on the south shore of Oneida Lake that has one of those SRX's which is all blacked out just like the one in your picture. It looks so damn sweet like that. I saw it last year at a bar we were at, and then I saw it buzzing around between houses this year. Sure is a sweet looking sled in all black.
The whole line-up of sleds you have is very impressive.

So what sled would take the checker flag,,1/4 mile,,,1 mile,,,first couple hundred feet ?????? Nice sleds....

Well, all of the sleds are pretty fast or most of them are in the same league. When the RX1 is on the nitrous it takes the checkered over all of them by a long shot. Behind that as we recently discovered comes the Vmax-4 with the racing track we put in it. I believe if we put the same racing track in my SRX the Vmax and my SRX would be very close. So I would put the sleds in order like this.

1. RX-1 with nitrous
2. Vmax 4 800
3. 2000 SRX
4. Apex
5. RX-1 without nitrous
6. Black SRX 600
7. 2002 Viper 700
8. Vmax 600

We raced the Vmax-4 against my sled SEVERAL times as you can read about in this post if you would like.

http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/showthread.php?t=24749

Another couple that we raced were the Apex against the RX-1. The RX-1 besides the nitrous is running the ECP kit, and clutching for the nitrous. The Apex is BONE STOCK. When we raced them and I was on the RX-1, I could pull away by about 1-2 MPH (I am 60 pounds lighter then my dad). When I was on the Apex, I was pulling away by about 3-4 MPH so the Apex is a little faster then the RX1. When we raced the Apex against my SRX, I was on the SRX and I could pull away pretty well probably by about 4-5 mph. When we switched riders, I took the lead in the beginning but was then barely caught and the SRX still had me by about 1-2 MPH. Then if you read the link, the SRX and the V-max was a very fun race. With the racing track we put in it, the Vmax almost flipped over. HOoked up really hard and beat my SRX by 4-5 sleds right off the bat. Once we clutched the Vmax, it really woke up and out ran my SRX by 1-2 MPH even with my dad on it. When I was on the Vmax, I pulled away from my dad on the SRX by about 3-5 MPH. I do believe that had my SRX been running the same track as the Vmax, the SRX and Vmax would be dead even in speed. The SRX 600 is about 9-10 MPH slower then my SRX with the same rider according to the gun. Given perfect icy conditions, I will put an estimated speed next to our sleds.

1. RX-1 on nitrous = 135 on GPS with ripsaw.
2. Vmax-4 800 = 129 on radar on ice with racing track.
3. 2000 SRX 700 = Never gone on Ice or with a racing track but have gotten 117 on radar. Probably 122-123 MPH on Radar with racing track and ice.
4. Apex = Brand new so havent gunned it. 113-114 on radar???
5. RX-1 off nitrous = 111 MPH on radar on very hard pack snow with Ripsaw.
6. 98 SRX 600 = 109 MPH on radar on hardpack with stock track.
7. 2002 Viper 700 = 104 MPH on Radar with stock track.
8. Vmax 600 = Never checked lol, not in the ball park of other sleds.

Man is that Vmax-4 scary to drive, when going 110 plus, you can feel the thing shaking like none other and it just keeps pulling.

Dude that is a sweet first pic!!!!! I wonder if they all raced what sled would come out on top? They are all great sled's in my book!!!!! great pic's ;)! :yam:

that one you speak of on onienda lake was a 2000 700 though.it is a sharp sled but he sold it or had it for sale for 1800$ this winter.im not sure what was wrong with it but it didnt run all that great when i raced it up at the cowshit 500 .but i thoguht it was something minor.power valves or sumthing.not sure if he sold it or not.

I wasn't sure what year the one at Oneida was, but i did for some reason think it was a 700 as well. I didn't see it for sale, but for 1800, that seems pretty cheap. Like I said, I saw someone buzzing around with it this winter back and fourth in some yards right off of 31. Saw it when I was in the truck. Where did you race that sled? I have never been by it when it was running or anything. I was somewhat aggrevated because two weeks ago a bunch of people were racing and running radar right in the bay in front of my house - Sunday. They must have been out there for 4 or so hours until I had to leave. Unfortunately I was finishing up on some weekend work inside the house and didn't get out there. Would have liked to see how the stock engine and stock clutch SRX ran on radar. I know I need to put some clutching into that, but I just don't have the time or knowledge to mess with it at this point.

Tunnel Polish?

2000SRX:

What did you use to polish the tunnels on the sleds?

I am looking to strip and polish my '02 SRX.

Thanks.
