Was curious about people that use to have a SX and are now riding something newer. Do they miss anything about the handling of the SX?

I still love the way mine handles, its that low center of gravity. Up to the bottoming point Its like a slot car, no ski lift in the turns. I have not tried any of the super suspension sleds, would like to try a REV.

It would seem you would be trading some of that "on rails" feeling of the SX for big bump adsorption but maybe tipy in the corner feeling. Any thoughts?

i had the oppurtunity to ride a rev for about half a day last year.great bump sled but i like the oval track feel.no question i like the sx better!plus the ergos on the sx are better.

riding a rev is just like riding a old pazer with the tss. i rode my brothers buddys rev for 45min on a trail run. its a 2003 rev 800. if you dont english it like a tss or old leaf spring sled it always lifts a ski in the corners on the trail. the bump handleing was nice but at 45 min my knees where starting to hurt from the rider forward position (occupational hazzard). if i coulda cocked my feet down like i do on my xt350 i probably would have been fine. kinda hard to do with runningboards.

I used to have a 99 700 sx and liked it at the time, then I went to an 02 viper and now an 05 rage, last spring I picked up 99 500sx for a good deal, I let a friend ride the 500 on a trail ride after about 60 miles we switched sleds and I could not believe just how good the old sx handled compared to my rage way better on a smooth trail!!!
