anyone out there build a 500 and if so what is out there for performance parts for these engines and what works what dont. also the big question, how much hp is safely gained on this engine.

yes that motor is alot of fun when you hop it up a little, I can do that for you.

Thin head gasket and if you have it laying around a 97-98 600 SX ignition and carb rack (with the TPS sensor) is a nice wake up on that sled!!

i have a high compression head i had machined up for min im sellin. brought it to a .055 squish with single layer gasket. so it would still run on pump gas. if ur interested PM me
