white junk in "overflow" hose

okay this is my first post. i hope it is in the right spot. umm.... i was out ridin a couple days ago and when i looked at my bike a day later, there was white junk in the hose that comes off the cam cover...any idea what it is or what caused it?? my oil and coolant levels are good also.

it sounds like your Oil is foaming, whens the last time you change your oil and whos oil are you running??

why would my oil foam?? i change it as per the book, and i am runnin 10-40 maxima i think. i usually run a high grade 10-30 farm oil. i have never had problems with it either.

I have seen many so called good oils do this in extreme heat.....I have never seen Yamaha Oil foam...

wicked thanks. i have never liked buying yammie oil. way to expensive. the stuff i am gettin a deal on now is 10$ for 5 litres instead of 10$ for 1 litre
