What is everyones thoughts on the Yamaha new sled DVD? I especially enjoyed the press comments section. To say that they were impressed would be an understatement. Their comments after the first ride are as if they never rode before and have just ridden a snowmobile for the first time - and these are the guys that ride every different kind of sled. It really shows that the new Phazer is something quite different than any other snowmobile.

Me and my dad and bro watched it alot of times, making sure we saw everything. Really liked the coverage on the new phazers but they totally lacked on coverage with the Attak and Rage. Only the GT version of both was shown.

covered every angle of the phazer but didn't talk about the vector er or apex er, attak or rage. just kind skimmed over the attak, rage, base apex and vector. would have liked to see more about the attak. i wanted to see more of the apex/attak with the blue lightning bolts. they are sweet

as far as the rider impressions, they pretty much hafta say they love it and everything about it. wouldn't look very good for a video if they just said "they're ok" just like any first ride impressions of the press on any new model. gotta talk it up. wait till next years mag. reviews then they'll pick them apart

I rode a phazer yesterday at the snocross race in lake geneva. It is a very fun sled to drive. Very easy to handle and throw around. I wouldnt say its mind blowing, but very impressive. It definitely needs some more HP but I wouldnt call it slow. Its kinda funny how it reminds me of the original phazer. If I had to compare it to another sled, Iwould say its close to a Rev but alot easier to drive. Front and rear suspensions were excellent. Not alot to complain about. Throw in another 20 HP and I would be buying one
